Why this site exists

Six years into marriage and a few years into motherhood, I noticed something: every adult in my life had a pillow they hated and didn't know how to replace.

My husband would come home from a long shift, throw himself onto the bed, and wake up with a tight neck. My mom, who has visited us through every season since my daughter was born, would politely complain about her hotel-style guest-room pillow. And my daughter went through a phase where every nap looked like a chiropractic emergency. I started reading pillow reviews — and then watching pillow review videos — at first to solve those three problems, and then because the more I learned about loft, side-sleep geometry, and how pillows actually wear out, the more I realized how much of pillow marketing is theater.

So I started this site as my open editorial notebook. Everything I would (or wouldn't) buy for my own family lives here, with the actual research that got me to the decision.

What I am

• A wife, a mom, and a self-taught family-product researcher.
• Someone who reads every 3-star review (those are where the trade-offs live).
• Someone who watches long-form sleep coach videos with the timestamps open so I can quote them honestly.
• Someone who only recommends pillows I would put on my own bed, my husband's, my mom's, or my daughter's.

What I am not

• A doctor, a chiropractor, a physical therapist, or a sleep scientist.
• A paid product reviewer — I do not accept money in exchange for recommendations.
• Someone who has personally slept on every pillow on this site. I'll never pretend otherwise; my methodology is in the Editorial Process page.

That's how the site pays for itself. Editorial picks are decided before any affiliate link is added. I have never, and will never, change a pick because of a commission rate.

I also serve a few Google AdSense ads on the site. AdSense decides what to show algorithmically; I don't accept paid placements. If you ever see an ad that feels mismatched with the content, email me and I'll flag it.
